hi, my first time here, sadly had to shout out my frustration with an ugly movie. It had to be this Basically, colours, cinematics, acting, actors were unlikable. The female lead actor I know from better films. She can act, she speaks english, she is funny and talented. She does not need this "depth" drama. It's her choice she and other pros know better. FIlm gets Oscar. Basically all disapproves me humble viewer. I feel really bad for the cat . She played better than all involved. Natural talent. Pretty confident with better taste in movies than all involved in this production. SPOILER: Apart from brave rescue operation, there is the close encounter of the two species and the many homages to past cinema and music score the director enjoys. Rest is aching nausea. For me. FIlm ends poetically stating the new found understanding and acceptance for something that is everywhere around and cannot be named, defined, whatever. I trust others will enjoy and connect with the film better than I did. For me it did nothing but sparked so much irritability. I rate movies only as want to see again and never. This one is of the latter kind. Best regards
