You see 3.5hrs runtime, you skim through to see if there is something happening besides old man talking and everywhere retired people (someone said they used some aginf CGI, but I must failed to see it), then you postpone viewing because you don't really feel like investing 3.5hrs of your time and then one day you decide to watch it and it's exactly what it is - 3.5hrs loooong borefest with old men talking, old men moving because they can edit face but they still move like old farts and you regret wasting 3.5hrs of your time. Day before I watched Foxtrot which felt kinda dragging but oh boy, what an masterpiece of action and emotions compared to this lullaby. This would drag even if they shaved one hour down, maybe at 2 hours it would work. For instance whole Peggy storyline was completely pointless not going anywhere. As someone pointed in other thread, Scorsese obviously got too much of director's freedom and studio would not allow runtime anywhere close to this.

This is nowhere close to any mob movies from 90s, ANY mob movie from 90s is way better than this trash. Gave it 6/10 and still feeling I am very generous, probably will lower the rating over time, same as I did with overhyped Midsommar long borefest trash.

Do yourself a service, avoid this and just rewatch Casino, Goodfellas, Donnie Brasco or whatever, I'm sure even A Bronx tale is better. If you feel like watching LOONG movie, watch An elephant sitting still, where fight over runtime cost director his life and that's masterpiece.
