I'm starting to think that Gattaca was a fluke

Gattaca is one of my favorite sci-fi films. Some of Niccol's subsequent films were okay, but none were close to the level of Gattaca. Do you think Niccol will make a film as good as Gattaca again? Or, was Gattaca the peak of his career?

I agree Gattaca was better, especially given the time, but this was a pretty solid offering. I didn't realize they were the same filmmaker/writer. I'll have to check out some of his other (though seemingly less-good) work.

He's done loads of solid stuff tbf, think OP maybe just rates Gattaca too highly? :P
