A pretty film that's just weird but still intriguing for me to watch and see what will happen with all the clues, conspiracy and killings. Unsure what's real and in his head and some WTF moments I liked:
Near the end of the film after the police gave him 24 hours to pay the rent - he was still chasing the clues etc, meanwhile I was just stressing about his eviction lol he had a laptop - sell it! Still not sure what's up with the ending, time to move on I guess?
Not a lot of people like this, I do ( Andrew Garfield) not my top fave but it's not that bad. If you did like it, highly recommend the anime series Welcome to the NHK

i enjoyed it a lot more than i thought from the reviews, just up my alley. i see a lot of people are comparing it to the feel of mulholland drive, and to some extent i see that, but overall i felt like i could have been watching the sequel to Brick (2005) - very similar vibe imho. glad i saw it and thought garfield was very good.

for me it's most similar to Inherent Vice. I didn't like that film, but I thought this one worked somehow. It was just strangely compelling, I think because it was likeable and the characters and settings were likeable in a way that IV's weren't. That said, would love to hear an interview with the writer where he explains the damn thing!
