In the majority of current software, informations will be correctly fetch even without the semicolon in the filename. We are not going to change the movie titles for this reason.

The fact that the semicolon is not accepted in the filenames for some systems doesn't mean that we sould alter the official titles of the movies.

Major applications use the title to identify moovies or tv shows and there is sometimes problems because of semicolons If you could make this choice, not tu use it, you should get TMDB better for all. But it stays your choice. For exemple, in Kodi, i sometime find problems because of semicolons. An easy solution is to use "-" or "," in place of ":"

As indicated, our site is a database of movies and series, not a database of filenames. We need to respect the official titles.

When naming your files, you just have to remove the semicolon char and Kodi will find it.
