Discuss Tales from the Crypt

So the five strangers are facing judgement for their sins. But two were still alive. One became a zombie five years later and another eternal life? I guess his wife wished him death and the zombie was killed or died of fright?

It's been a while since I've seen this but who became a zombie? I remember Peter Cushing was a zombie but he wasn't one of the 'judged' right? And the story with the wishes, I wondered why the business partner/boss/whoever-he-was didn't make a wish that could resolve the whole dead/alive/eternal suffering situation..!

I think he means the driver who sees a premonition of his own death, dues and returns on the anniversary.

I guess his wife may have damaged his brain by a gun or the police or anyone who saw him.

The way I look at it is that it is their souls that are in the crypt. So the adulterous man's body is constantly re"unliving" the event for eternity, whereas his soul is forced to relive and face the spiritual hell of what he has lost forever.. and ever.. and ever. Same as with the Monkey's Paw husband: his soul's hell is knowing, forgetting, facing and realizing that he put his wife in Hell in that she has to live knowing she gave her husband ('s body) eternal pain and agony.
