Extra Details: I think the overview for this movie should be unlocked and amended. It currently reads; "An account of Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis's actions in the events leading up to the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing and the aftermath, which includes the city-wide manhunt to find the terrorists behind it" which is a legacy of the film's original intention to focus specifically on Davis. In reality the film opted to go with a fictional character at its centre, played by Mark Wahlberg.

Thanks for your report! slight_smile

I don't know the movie, but from what I read on the official website and in a few articles, I agree with you. I searched for the current overview via google, and it looks like that many local theatres in the US used this overview to advertise their showings. But it doesn't seem accurate to the movie.

Any alternative texts?

1.) I shortened the very long story on the official website to something like this:

"An account of the events surrounding the Boston Marathon bombing, detailing one of the most sophisticated and well-coordinated manhunts in law enforcement history. Drawn from real-life accounts including those of the first responders, the law enforcement investigative team, and government officials that worked tirelessly to track down the bombers in record time, and the actual survivors."

2.) I personally like the overview on the youtube trailer by CBS films much better -> for the overview, only this part:

"In the aftermath of an unspeakable act of terror, Police Sergeant Tommy Saunders joins courageous survivors, first responders and investigators in a race against the clock to hunt down the Boston Marathon bombers before they strike again."

But, as I wrote, I don't know the movie -> so I'm not sure if that's more accurate? What do you think? thinking

Both are good, but for succinctness I'd go for number 2 :)
