Not! Let's just say that all those flashbacks and backstory only lead to a boring and tedious story where two grown men, both of whom seem to be way past their prime, are repeatedly comically posturing to each other like little kids making very serious and angry facial expressions and giving dramatic speeches all the while it looks like they are having a hard time keeping a straight face because of how ridiculous it all is.

Despite all the nonsensical and ridiculous scenes what I really found strange was the scene where Vin Diesel is arrested by 'Interpol' and taken into a SWAT van, but it turns out the 'Interpol' is actually a group of some chicks (probably from some previous movie I don't remember). What makes this scene strange is that the women in the van and small confined space seem to be doing their darndest not to look at Vin Diesel while he is talking with the exception of the woman he is talking to. It reminded me of that rumor of Sylvester Stallone who apparently didn't want his maids to look him in the eye. Is Vin Diesel's ego so big and fragile these days he doesn't want the supporting actors to look at him? Also I have to mention, that while this is obviously not a comedy movie, I did get a laugh out of that scene where Diesel jumps from a platform to attack some henchmen below and strikes a double biceps pose before jumping for no reason.

Might as well ask what the heck is going on with Charlize Theron's hair in this movie? I didn't know she was busy shooting a new 'Three Stooges' movie at the same time. She wouldn't have been my first pick for Moe, but I'm sure she'll pull off the role well.
