Discuss The Cloverfield Paradox

The creators can do whatever they want creatively, just so long as they slap the Cloverfield name on it. It would be nice if we had a resolution to the first film, since we only got a partial explanation in this film. Instead they are going to have Zombie Nazi's and whatever else, as long as they slap the Cloverfield name on it, everything will be fine.

Seems that way. These movies have started to seem more like standalone films started with the second one and while I guess that lack of info connecting the films will bother some, I think the movies themselves have been pretty good so far.

I'm trying to go for an entertaining, informative youtube channel so, if you have the time, take a look. Hope you enjoy what you see and if you have any thoughts or criticisms, i'd love to hear them. Thanks in advance. Review right here-https://youtu.be/hJYnJuDPdn0

Seeing how each movie takes place in its own dimension it seems there will never be a follow up movie to a previous Cloverfield movie. You can tell because after Cloverfield every movie that came after were not planned. They were other movies that JJ Abrams "commandeered" and changed slightly to bring into the Cloverfield series. 10 Cloverfield Lane was supposed to be called The Cellar and had nothing to do with Cloverfield. Any tie in with the series came at the very end. The Cloverfield Paradox was originally called The God Particle. Once again it was not supposed to be part of the Cloverfield universe. At the last minute they made some changes to the movie to adapt it into the Cloverfield universe. I'm sure the same is true about Overlord although I can't confirm it at this time. This is why these movies seem so disjointed.
