His universe stinks. He needs to reinvent, instead of rehashing mediocre ideas that become instant laughingstocks. If we had the first half of split and then a second half with the same amount of realism it would have been great. Instead the left turn into "i do my own thing" was horrible. I suggest he watches 10 cloverfield lane and find out how to make a twist that still retains some mystery.

He needs to just stop making movies. He is pretty good at sucking.

He observed that studios started funding trilogies so he went begging for funding on the premise that he would make Unbreakable a trilogy.

Split was so good, it was like a comeback effort from him, for me. I admire how McAvoy played the hell out of those 3,047 roles/personalities... I agree that the first half was better than the second one, though.
