Discuss Skyfall

I was just browsing through my ratings having ordered them. I gave this a very low 2/10 which I think fairly reflected my disappointment and anger at this film. I've rating 374 movies with only 7 films scoring so poorly. Here is my full list of 2s:-

  • Stranger Than Fiction
  • Suicide Squad
  • Cabin Fever
  • Seven Pounds
  • The Godfather: Part III
  • Open Water 2: Adrift
  • Skyfall

Anyone else here carry over their ratings from the old imdb and still rating? If so what turns up in your lists of extremely low scoring movies?

I did. But I have also added more. But it would take up too much room to list all. Out of 2,020 ratings, there are 101 that I rated a 1 & 73 that are rated a 2.

Suicide Squad is too high.

What's annoying here is that I can look on your profile and click "Rating & Reviews" them see that of that 2,000+ ratings 1,463 are for movies. I can then order them by your rating but for some reason not actually see the scores! e.g. Sword Of Vengeance, The Lion King, etc look like they must be 1s (?) but it doesn't actually show the score...

Where's Quantum of Solace and the rest of the Daniel Craig Jason Bourn....sorry "Bond" movies from your list? They're all equally terrible. Let's make "Bond" movies and take out everything that made him James Bond and finally cast some bro completely lacking in charisma to seal the deal.

I can't see yours at all. Did you make them private? I can see your favorites list & the graph but not which movies you have rated.

👍 Just checked that in my settings. Don't recall making them private or not though, maybe that wasn't an initial feature here, but really can't remember.

Re QoS - Unbelievably I gave it 5/10 😂 Not sure why, I must have been feeling generous at the time, although I've only seen it once in the cinema so obviously didn't like it enough to go back. Most bewildering about that particular film was the water supply plot. Doesn't look like I rated Casino Royale at all...

Q0S was my least favorite of the Craig Bond films. I rated them like this:

Casino Royale 10/10

Skyfall 8/10

Spectre 8/10 (this was on the first viewing, I need to watch it again)

Quantum of Solace 6.5-7/10 (it had the 'weakest villain, although it had the best opening scene IMHO)
