I do not believe that the last three films deserved Best Picture nominations by a long shot, and I feel that Arrival is the most overrated movie of the year and possibly one of the most overrated in history. Any of the top four would have constituted acceptable choices for Best Picture, but Moonlight is the best in my view, one of two great movies from 2016 (the other being Sully, which only received one Oscar nomination and not in a prominent category).
Manchester by the Sea, which is possibly my favourite film of the last 2-3 years.
Moonlight
Arrival
Hell or High Water
La La Land
Hidden Figures
Not in any real hurry to see the others. Will probably check out Lion and Fences eventually.
They're both very good. Hacksaw Ridge was pretty manipulative and overbearing. You'll certainly be able to survive without seeing it. Yes, Manchester By the Sea was amazing!

A list made out of those films I have seen this year. There might be many others as interesting as these that I haven´t seen yet
