I agree. It was great. I was lucky to have an IMAX 70mm nearby. They hadn't used the projector in 3 years and seemed clueless early on that they were supposed to be showing Dunkirk in 70mm IMAX, but they got themselves together and got the projector working in time.
I saw Dunkirk a second time on a local digital IMAX (I think Laser 1.43:1 since the image was tall like the 70mm film IMAX). It was great again. The second times I understood the timelines better and knew to watch for things I know I missed the first time. I highly recommend a second viewing.

I agree. I liked it a lot. Very good movie. I enjoyed it more than Interstellar.
