I had never seen or heard of this 1961 Hammer film before. It's very good, and Peter Cushing is excellent in a role that is very uncharacteristic for him. Well written, and fine performances all around, including Andre Morell, with whom he had starred in another Hammer film, The Hound of the Baskervilles, two years earlier. I also liked the surprise ending that wrapped it all up nicely.
