What's with Franco's Wiseau accent?

I just watched the trailer for this and Francos' accent sounds really weird, like Wiseau has a speech impediment or something. Anyone notice that?

There are moments when his accent is better than other moments but for the most part, his impersonation isn't great. It's a good movie, though.

I thought he managed to capture Wiseau the best he could, with the strange accent being one of the better parts of the performance.
