Here's a thread to discuss Eilish's brand new song 'No Time To Die' which is being released later today @ 7pm ET/4pm PT or midnight in the UK.
Listen to the teaser: https://twitter.com/billieeilish/status/1227700334652358661?s=20
From that short clip, it also being Valentine's Day tomorrow, and the overall romantic theme of NTTD that they're marketing I think we can expect a slow love ballad from Eilish à la Nobody Does It Better or Skyfall.

Doubt there are many Eilish fans here. Generic Bond theme on its way. Zzzzzz

This is a thread for Bond fans who want to talk about the song in comparison to the other title songs and not necessarily Eilish's work.

I personally think it's horrible but it's just my opinion.

Pretty flat. Adele should probably sing all Bond themes from now on.

That is not how you open up a Bond film.

I actually enjoy the song. Eilish's voice has limited range of course (she's no Adele and this is no Skyfall) although she excels within that low range imo. So this song is playing to her strengths and that's better than if she had tried to mimic or outshine Adele which she certainly isn't.
My ranking of the Craig-era title songs:

Pretty uninspiring. But then we haven't had a good Bond song since Goldeneye, 25 years and 8 Bond films ago. So another forgettable one doesn't make much difference.

Dude, that is the most terrifying thing I've ever heard! I'm gonna have nightmares about that tonight now.
I think I need a lie down.

Not a fan of Writing's On The Wall then, huh?

I'm not a fan of Bond themes in general. A few are classics but most are filler. They are not as much songs as mini adverts to get you in the Bond mood. This BE number gets me in the mood for a nap. Wonder why they went with a Yank this time?

Because she's the 'flavor/flavour of the moment'?

Because she's signed with Interscope Records? To be a real flavor of the moment Ben and Jerry's ice cream will have to release a special Billie Eilish "I'm so sad Strawberry Pistachio" flavour.🍓 (pistachio for her green hair)

Maybe, but I hear about Adele everywhere. I hear her songs everywhere. They're so annoying. I couldn't even tell you when a Sam Smith song comes on the radio they're so mundane. So he's easy to ignore.
