I cannot believe the rating for this film is so high. I thought the acting across the board was absolutely atrocious, with hardly anyone able to deliver the dialogue naturally. Thoughts?

I thought the acting was very good and entirely appropriate....
I liked the heightened way that they spoke... Allows us to see things with a certain detachment and distance to see the bigger picture, but it was also performed intensely enough for us to feel it when it mattered...
