I thought that she did a great job in this movie. It was a nice change of pace to have one of the Bond Girls turn into one of the Bond villains.

Yep, it was a nice job. And having watched it again recently, even Christmas Jones wasn't as awful as I'd remembered, though "I thought Christmas only comes once a year" was one of if not THE dumbest Bond jokes ever.

Just watched the movie again for only the 2nd time. Enjoyed it immensely. Sophie Marceau was excellent and looked stunning! I remember the torcher chair so well, when James really did shoot Christmas and the sub scene where he went from one air chamber to the other and almost ran out of air.
