Impossible. There's NO way that over the course of a NASA training and conditioning period, with multiple blood draws per week, that NASA would not detect a pregnancy. The whole story is negated by that fact.

Well i suppose. I mean, it just takes 1 act of sex, just shortly after one of those blood draws, or maybe the night/morning before their take off. I just honestly think its a possibility. I'm just here for the story. I never heard of this movie before ....like...literally just downloaded the movie 3 mins ago and only 22 mins into the film, before i needed a break and came here to talk about the movie. Frankly I was drawn to the movie because I really missed Janet Montgomery....

I suppose that's true, but still, I would have to think an astronaut who endured years of education, training, and conditioning not to mention testing just to get a place on the mission would take their job a little more seriously. But then again, it IS just a movie :-) That said, I still haven't returned to the movie. The dumb comment about Thomas Edison electrocuting an elephant was just too dumb.

2reabo: Nope, there's worse .... On Mars, you have minimum 30 minutes response time... so you can't talk or chat with Earth. You can send mails ... ;D.
And maybe, we have some real pregnant astronauts in space. But there is many secrecy about that because religions, ethics ... similar like man cloning. In real, technically there can be some problems some months after birth. Before that, every child live in weightlessness.
