De film presenteert de laatste dagen van generaal Sikorski, vlak voor de catastrofe in Gibraltar. De commandant wordt vergezeld door zijn dochter Zofia en een groep naaste medewerkers. Ze zijn allemaal te gast in het paleis van de gouverneur van Gibraltar, Mason Macfarlane, die Sikorski moet overhalen documenten terug te geven over de moord op Poolse officieren in Katyn. Wanneer Sikorski weigert, wordt een plan voor een aanslag op zijn leven uitgevoerd. Wie stond erachter? Wie heeft het uitgevoerd en hoe? Zat Zofia ook aan boord van Liberator?

The film presents the last days of Gen. Sikorski, right before the Gibraltar catastrophe. The commander is accompanied by his daughter Zofia and a group of closest collaborators. They are all guests in the palace of the Governor of Gibraltar, Mason Macfarlane, who is supposed to persuade Sikorski to give back documents on the murder of Polish officers in Katyn. When Sikorski refuses, a plan of attempt on his life comes into action. Who stood behind it? Who executed it and how? Was Zofia on board of Liberator too?

À Gibraltar, où il fait escale au retour d'une mission au Proche-Orient, le général Sikorski est reçu au palais du gouverneur britannique, Mason MacFarlane. Celui-ci doit convaincre Sikorski de lui remettre des documents confidentiels révélant l'implication des Soviétiques dans le meurtre de 22 000 officiers polonais à Katyn. Le refus du général déclenche une opération planifiée depuis quelques mois sous le nom de The Wall.

Film opowiada o ostatnich dniach życia generała Władysława Sikorskiego, tuż przed katastrofą. Wodzowi towarzyszy córka Zofia i ekipa najbliższych współpracowników. Wszyscy goszczą w pałacu gubernatora Gibraltaru Masona Macfarlane’a, który ma nakłonić Sikorskiego do oddania dokumentów świadczących o morderstwie oficerów polskich w Katyniu. Gdy ten stanowczo odmawia, w plan zostaje wdrożony zamach na generała. Kto za nim stoi? Kto go wykonał i jak przebiegał?
