Discuss Berlin Syndrome

A completely riveting thriller. It's any woman's worse nightmare. It could have ended any number of ways, yet I wasn't expecting that conclusion to the story.

You mean you didn't expect her to escape after her 20th attempt?

The ending payoff was not worth it considering how boring and slow-paced the movie was with its pointless subplots, imo.

No, that's not what I meant at all. I had my doubts that she would escape since the guy thought of every way to prevent her from escaping. Although when I mentioned the ending, I'm actually referring to his fate. I wasn't expecting that to happen. It could have ended lots of different ways. If it were me, I would have killed his ass. I'm not disappointed in any way. I'm kind of relieved the movie didn't follow the formula of a violent ending.

Thanks for the spoilers you stupid cvnts.

Sorry. I tried not to. If it's any consolation, they are small spoilers. Yes she does escape but that's just part of it. They way she escapes, everything leading up to the conclusion is completely riveting in my opinion. Then there was the dynamic of their relationship that I thought was really odd. Obviously he didn't love her but he acted as if he did. Pretty sick stuff.

  • Comes to a discussion board about a movie he didn't see

  • Clicks into the thread of someone who has clearly seen the movie evidenced by the title

  • Gets mad he got spoilered

Get rekt kid.

It's hilarious that some little fag who actually uses terms like "get rekt" would try to use "kid' as an insult. Please don't further devastate me by telling me how you "PWNED" me or how "butthurt" I am. lol

LOL!

It sounds like like a review of the movie, which it was, with no spoiler in the OP. You're the tool who gave away the ending.

There's a review section for, you know, reviews. The discussion section usually has discussion, which may contain spoilers FYI.

Not mad at all. I have no interest in seeing it. I was just pointing out how much of an ass_hole you were for ruining it for other people. On the other hand, my post seems to have made you quite angry.

I'm not angry, you're not the one using words like "fag" and avoiding the swear filter. I just have zero sympathy for people who go to discussion boards then complain about getting spoilered.

Thanks for the spoilers you stupid cvnts.

Yeah, this is the language of someone who's not mad.

I was sure the OP was being sarcastic. I’m surprised they managed to drag this out to movie length. There wasn”t a lot to go on. I’m mostly disappointed in myself for watching it with the hope it would turn into a riveting drama.

I agree. It was so much more interesting than watching another stupid movie about superheroes.
