Some film has to be though.
It seems like less attention was paid to this film than the other films in the Franchise, with the exception of Thor 2. It was kind of like the first film, but more generic. I have to conclude that Edgar Wright's influence was what made the first film so good. It was right around the point where Ghost and Laurence Fishbourne went into about 10 minutes of exposition that I started to tune out. It was a lazy way to tell the backstory. Standard fare in Hollywood movies, but we've come to expect more from Marvel. Everything was just very standard, apart from the special effects.

Guardians vol.2 or Spider-Man Homecoming compete for the weakest phase 3 film in my opinion.

I would agree, I felt Black Panther was the worst of them all.

I really enjoyed Ant-Man & The Wasp, but during the above mentioned scene I was getting also a 'TV-movie' vibe as well. Still, a fun movie overall.

for me the weakest is thor ragnorak the way they pushed loki around, the cheesy dialogue, and the cringy humour it had topped it off for me

Im going to give that to Black Panther. Not only do i think its the weakest of the Phase 3 movies. Its my least favorite MCU movie overall. I enjoyed Thor 2 more than i enjoyed Black Panther. It has nothing do with the cast. I think the movie took itself way too seriously and wasn't engaging enough to be as good as Infinity War. Overall it just bored me.

It wasn't that it was boring to me, Black Panther I thought had some bad acting which made it boring and laughable.

Yea, way overrated; which gave it very high expectations. All that only to discover it was boring because much of the acting was bad, and it was funny because much of that the acting kept being bad.

I wouldn't just discount it with very high expections. You don't get $700,006,415 Domestic and $1,346,739,107 WW without many repeat viewings. I heard of people watching Black Panther 3 or 4 times. High expectations wouldn't account for that. As for the acting, 97% Tomato Meter and an 88 Metacritic score as well as having a cast with 2 Oscar nominees (Angela Bassett and Daniel Kaluuya) and 2 Oscar winners (Forest Whitaker and Lupita Nyong'o) for acting means either you're trolling or full of shit.

I shouldn't have to defend myself on this forum; I truly did not like the movie and that's my opinion. There were a few scenes I felt where the acting was well done, but it did not make up for the rest of it.
I saw Black Panther first at a indoor theatre on a 80' screen with laser projection...truly watched it in an environment with top notch state of the art picture and state of the art sound. Another words; I went way out of my way to watch it in a theatre for which there are certain movies I want to see and hear with the best equipment available in my area which I don't do very often...maybe about two or three times a year of that. On top of that I go to my local drive-in once a week. Many times I enjoy watching most it not all of the big summer blockbusters at least two times at the drive-in . Bottom line, I purposely avoided watching Black Panther again; a situation I don't do very often.

Fine. I'll take is as that, though I highly disagree with your assessment.
I watch many movies myself 3-4 a month in the theaters, there are a ton of films I don't like that others seem to so I get that, but at least try to give more insight than just blanket statements like:
It just makes you sound like you're just spouting crap to rile people up.

Or that I really don't want to spend too much time writing about a movie I didn't like. I also think I was responding to someone when they asked about what I found boring. The exact question was "How was it boring and laughable? A tad overrated definitely." So I came up with a quick answer. There's going to be at least 10 movies I'm going to be writing about in The Movie DB I've seen over this past few weeks...I at least like to make a comment about them, but I always don't have time to sit and write full commentaries of every little thought I have about a movie...there's so many other things I do that take up much of my time. By the way those 10 movies I've seen will quickly add up to 14 by next week and I may not have time to make comments about them till at least that week or later when I have seen even more movies.
If you'd like to read about two movies I've written very much about in depth; I encourage you to see my posts in

AND
I hate High Frame Rates movies! SuperFly (2018.) A movie I was really starting to enjoy, but was ruined when about 3/4 into the movie; it changed over to a high frame rate. Not only was it a thread I started, it's the only thread about that movie.

Unfortunately there's no easy way to look up a member of The Movie DB to see the other posts that person made. If that was the case; it would make it easier to follow others and also learn of their posting habbits.
This is a forum for Ant-Man and the Wasp _ so I feel a quick reply about a movie that has nothing to do with the topic at hand (Ant-Man) except for the fact that the title of this thread is _Weakest Marvel film of phase 3 only requires a quick response of what I felt was one of the weakest Marvel movies.
If you'd like to read what I fully typed about Black Panther your welcome to visit it here https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/284054-black-panther/discuss/5a9c5237c3a3680b7d03984b?page=4

Dated March 15th 2018...
"Not only could I not relate to this movie, to me it fell flat and didn't get anywhere close to the hype nor the coolness of the trailer. The trailer had me thinking this was going to be some really good Marvel action flick with some really mean action. Man I was wrong.
Normally I see movies at the drive-in, but this particular movie based from what I saw in the trailer and the hype; I took the time (to drive a much further distance) to watch it on a 80 foot screen lit with a state of the art laser projector. It looked gorgeous and sounded fantastic, but the story and action scenes...including the fact there was no sense of drama left me wanting a hell of a lot more. The fact this is a Marvel movie also made it that much more disappointing.
On the other hand, having a token white guy in the movie did make it funny."
