The idea of two supeheroes called Ant-man and the Wasp seems kinda ridiculous. I can imagine the likes of Marvel and DC coming up with the most absurd comic heroes. Given the power of marketing, cool trailers and fantastic CGI, they'd probably do good or great box office despite their ridiculous names or concepts. How about these wannabe superheroes eager to follow in Ant-man/Wasp's silly name footsteps...
Treeman
A man becomes a tree and has amazing tree-like power! Kids try to climb him but only when he's got some spare time and not out trying to save the world.
Cloudman
A man become a cloud. His powers include rain, wind, and if you are nice to him he'll grant you sunshine!
Internetman
A teenager named Sam Samwell merges with the internet! He can hack any websites, view any laptop/phone cameras, he can even get the highest score on Angry Bird! The federal government try to stop him or hire him. Sam's greatest fear isn't capture or death but slow broadband/wi-fi connection.

Well..Ant-Man and the Wasp were founding members of the Avengers in the comics. So they've been partners for a good while now (since 1963).
As for Cloudman, there's this ex-Defender... http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Cloud_(Earth-616)

They get into a bit of that in Infinity War with Bruce Banner being astonished that the Avengers now have an Ant Man and a Spider man.

The worst and most forced IMO is the "humor" in Doctor Strange...you can tell the head honchos forced those jokes in there...given Director's Scott Derrickson's very serious "no jokes" track record (Sinister, Exorcism of Emily Rose).

I found the humour in GotG2 most annoying. There were a few jokes that were funny at first and then got dragged out in an annoying way. The James Gunn directed scene in Infinity War was also like this. The thing with Drax was funny at first and then got dragged out until it wasn't funny anymore. I think someone needs to have the balls to tell Gunn when to rein it in.

Internet Man ???? Do you remember a truly awful 80's series 'Automan' ? Might just be the Grandaddy of your super hero suggestion.

I don't see the problem of having humor in these characters. They are after all from a comic book!

Thank God that Marvel directors don't listen to people who dislike Marvel movies humor.
Marvel movies have been having excellent humor in all movies. We don't want any kind of humor from those abysmal DC movies.

I laugh at the movies in the DCEU but for all the wrong reasons.

This reminds me of an old movie I once saw "Swamp Thing."
This sounds like "iBoy" :
"After being shot, Tom wakes from a coma to discover that fragments of his smart phone have been embedded in his head, and worse, that returning to normal teenage life is impossible because he has developed a strange set of superpowers."
