Well I suppose it couldn't be any worse than the original. Never understood the love.
Just have a gander at the cinematography for a start. And the music sounds like pure evil.
I agree about the trailer but that doesn't guarantee that it will be good. But I mostly was commenting on the fact that I didn't like the original, so the remake couldn't be worse?

I know. I was talking about the original too. The cinematography is famously well regarded for it's myriad of colours. And the score captures raw evil.
No, a trailer doesn't guarantee anything. But we can see it's clearly not glossy like the endless barrage of horror remakes are. And it's from a well regarded, artistic director.
These things do suggest that the makers actually intend to make a good film rather than a broad, crowd pleasing cash grab. And that makes me happy.

Well to each his own. This world would be a boring place if we all thought the same thing.

Yeah, I'm optimistic, now. I need to give the original another watch. Haven't seen it in ages.

That's one of the few Dario Argento films I haven't seen. I must have a look.

I agree. It looks like a nice, up-to-date take on Argento's film. I think I'll be seeing them both (the original for a second time).

Are you forgetting 'Once Upon a time in America', it was released in 1984.

I like the 70s vibe they seemed to be able to pull off. Looking forward to the next trailer, maybe some dialogue would be nice.
