The movie had a pretty good cast. Not that they were all great actors, but were a good fit for this kind of movie!

The guy who played Zarkov was pretty good too. I know he is a well known stage actor as I remember him in the film version of Fiddler on the Roof which my father forced me to watch as a child. But Jones and Anderson were laughably bad. They looked the part but they just couldn't act it. The film's campiness though pretty makes it easy to look over.

Don't leave out Brian Blessed! Could anyone else have played the leader of the hawkmen so well?
