Discuss Trans-Siberian Orchestra: The Ghosts of Christmas Eve

I've never been an enthusiast of the 46-minutes film Trans-Siberian Orchestra: The Ghosts of Christmas Eve, but certainly, from the moment I first heard it play on the radio back in 1998, have absolutely loved the TSO's gorgeous, ethereal "Christmas Canon" (a repurposing of Pachelbel's Canon) that is featured in one portion of this film. To this day, anytime I hear that song play during the annual holiday season, I have to turn it up and soak it in. Thoroughly beautiful.

Here that song is. Always reminds me (which inevitably makes me a little sad) of my late mom, as she loved it every bit as much as I always have.

Per Wikipedia:

"Christmas Canon" is a Christmas song by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) from their 1998 album The Christmas Attic. // The song is set to the tune of Johann Pachelbel's Canon in D Major with new lyrics added. The style is a departure from TSO's usual rock arrangements, instead being performed in the style of a children's choir with light accompaniment from piano and strings....// As of November 25, 2016, total sales of the digital track stand at 918,000 downloads according to Nielsen SoundScan, placing it seventh on the list of all-time best-selling Christmas/holiday digital singles in SoundScan history.

Now that was lovely. A nice chord progression, a simple arrangement and a children's choir will do that to you. Watched it three times in a row. πŸ‘ΌπŸ‘ΌπŸŽ»πŸŽ»

That's a song I'll never get tired of. Totally speaks to the spirit.
