3D is a waste unless it was shot in/for 3D (this wasn't).

And this film is specially formatted for IMAX in certain scenes. That means the picture is opened up for those scenes (only in IMAX) and it's beautiful. Saw it in IMAX.

Agreed Xyberfaust, decided on IMAX and glad I did, I noticed the special scenes..felt like fly over the actual scenery at times! So awesome!

Didn't see much that would've taken advantage of the 3D
