You're not wrong about Jurassic Park 3. This new film was basically a souped-up remake of JP2 but when thinking back I couldn't recall anything specific about JP3 at all other than it having an extraordinary ugly cast for a blockbuster movie - had to read the wiki entry just to refresh my memory.
Im looking forward to this. I enjoyed the last one even if they kept hitting you over the head with the good ol nostalgia stick. I think it will do well in cinemas.
I felt let down. Only about 6/10 for me. Just didn't have the heart that Jurassic World had. The big plot twist I saw coming the entire movie. Seemed rushed to me. They needed to flesh out the script more.
All Jurassic Park movies are masterpieces, exception made to the horrific Jurassic Park 3!
I still find parts to enjoy about JP3. It's not a great movie, but I can never NOT enjoy a movie with Sam Neill. In fact, I was also looking up info about the actor Michael Jeter, who was terribly gifted and who played one of the CIA operatives, just this morning. I actually find JP2 more disappointing because I really disliked the riff on King Kong (taking the T-Rex to suburbia) and felt that it failed to capture the wonder and excitement of the original. By JP3 my expectations were much lower and easier to meet.
And I've never had a difficult time watching Tea Leoni.
I don't know if i would call it masterpiece. I thought whole making dinosaurs into a weapon was a bit much. But i thought it was overall an enjoyable film. I think it sets up what could be an interesting sequel. Ive been saying for a long time they need to make a movie were the dinosaurs win. I mean i want see a movie where humanity is on its last legs. And show that Ian Malcolm was right all along. As for most of the Jurassic Park movies. I think some are better than others. But i wouldn't say any of them are on the same level as Batman and Robin.

The Lost World is 100000000000 times better than the abysmal Jurassic Park 3.
I loved the T.Rex in San Diego scenes in the second movie.

yes! Jurassic World: The Last Stand
....and they can start with decimating Hollywood. Now that I would want to see.
This was a pretty crappy film. Seems like they are coming up with increasingly ridiculous and absurd reasons for these dinosaurs and their rampages. That indoraptor was a real piece of work too. The most dangerous hunter and predator on planet earth.....but can't seem to deal with two screaming chicks and a Chris Pratt. At least that thing had good manners - it was running around like a bull in a china shop breaking everything inside the house, but then it went outside and noticed it was night and dark and realized it was so called "quiet time" and people were trying to sleep so it started sneaking around and using doors like some sort of a reptile hitman or librarian.

Just saw it - not sure if I'd quite give it 5☆s (😉) but yeah this was a great, fun blockbuster film.

Well I wouldn't call Tea Leoni "ugly" at all.

Singing Dinosaurs? I'm not sure if I can support this or not.
