I have to agree with you - it's got some nice kinetic energy and some quality explosions for sure. The bad guys are slightly dumber than in the first UNDER SIEGE, but thankfully Seagal here does most of the dirty work himself (not as much reliance on sub-heroes to kill bad guys). I think the scenery is a lot nice to look at too; the same refreshing "evil terrorists out in beautiful nature" juxtaposition that made CLIFFHANGER such a classic.

Everett McGill is interesting in everything he's in, though his big fight scene wastes his abilities. It was entertaining seeing Seagal utterly destroy sleazy greaseball William Forsythe in OUT FOR JUSTICE without taking any hits, but by this point it's just silly for Seagal to not be injured at all. Not that realism is so necessary in these films, but at least making the attempt to avoid total predictability would be nice!

It's certainly a HUGE step up from ON DEADLY GROUND the previous year, though Seagal was at this point obviously leaving the golden years of his career. The 1-2 punch of FIRE DOWN BELOW and GLIMMER MAN sealed his career's tomb, along with his tragic weight gain. His attempted comeback with EXIT WOUNDS did little to resuscitate his career and he's been stuck in straight-to-DVD movie hell ever since!

Oh boy oh boy - first of all I got to say nothing's gonna change my love for this film! Glenn just love Under Siege too! Great memory - I Glenn and my brother Bobby we go see this when much much younger. We sneaky the rum into cinema and pour in with the coke! Great time watching Stevan Seagal and get drunk - great time!

Although actually now Glenn remember that day go very wrong later on very wrong. But anyways before that happen Under Siege and Seagal just the best!

Another big plus for this movie is the gorgeous Brenda Bakke heart_eyes

It's a shame she wasn't in it more.
