Discuss Solo: A Star Wars Story

...this movie is CRAP! Glad I didn't see this in theaters nor blind buy it on Blu...its just...uninteresting! The EMPIRE names him Solo?!? lolol

I thought it was clunky and dull throughout. I don't recall anything about it a few months on.

CHEWBACCA IS GOOD,DONALD GLOVER IS ENTERTAINING,WOODY IS ALMOST LIKABLE.OVERALL THE FILM IS A CLOGGED TOILET.

I will take your word for it. I think I'm just done with Star Wars as a franchise after TLJ anyway. That one alone made me more apathetic to the Star Wars mythos than either of the first two prequels. That's bad.

I kind of wished George Lucas had the courage to speak out and say "Han Solo is called Han Solo because that's his name. Period."

He should have it made it clear - there was no backstory to the surname. I doubt there was any backstory to the name.

TLJ was definitely the prime example of Disney simply milking their purchase...no heart, no respect for the OG characters, a final shot basically saying "your gonna get so many chapters going forward they'll be coming out of your ears".
