I feel this movie has more to do with displaying how people are effected by war, and how they deal with it...not so much about having a story line even though there is one. Sad, though it does bring up issues many people may not think about what may be happening to those who serve. On the other hand "Dead Presidents" (1995) is (I feel) the better movie which deals with some of the same themes in a very different and much more entertaining kind of way.

Well, it is a biography and an accurate depiction of how trauma impacts the lives of people around them. It is grim, horrifying and puts life in a pause-mode, where you relieve the trauma feeling over and over and over again until it eats you away... unless you deal with it!
If you choose to pretend to not see the "monster" that haunts traumatized people, or not to at least be curious about it ... then you won't find this movie ,,entertaining''!
I am not a veteran, but I cried several times during this movie. When you have PTSD you are stuck in time.
