I thought it was one of the best monster movies we've had in the last few years. In fact, I was really surprised on how well this movie turned out to be. I know it does not have the best acting, but the effects were out of this world and there were a few excellent action sequences. Most of all, I felt this was like watching a underwater version of Independence Day.

There; I said it!

No, it wasn't bad at all. It really picked up after the 30 minute mark and there were some nice action scenes.

I would've said the opposite; went downhill after 30mins (basically when they got out of the underwater station). Also...the effects were terrible for its budget!

The acting was atrocious too. Jason Statham is a caricature of himself.

I like caricatures.
