I agree, I found the colleagues of will Smith absolutely horrible and disgusting. Just as Helen her character and that kid. And then the ending where they pretend not knowing eachother. Like seriously!?!?
This was like a worse version of that movie "reign over me" with Adam Sandler and Don Cheadle. That film was a much more interesting approach to a man overcoming grief. This film was awful.
It was a lead the audience up the garden path kind of a movie telling them lies so as they could manipulate a "surprise" ending. I found it mawkish instead of touching.
