2nd greatest celebrity cameo ever in movie history.
Very funny!
It was shit. Too weird for me. Trying to be funny and failing miserably is one thing but there is nothing NOTHING that's more of a turn off than an Elton John fangirl in the director's chair of a big budget movie. The whole Kingsman franchise is one giant schizophrenic prepubescent vomit fest. I'll stick with Bond.
Bond died in 2006.
There is the slightest possibility he may one day be resurrected but no guarantee.

I try to stay reasonably unspoiled going into movies, and when "Elton" turned up I thought that they'd hired a deliberately not much of a lookalike as some sort of joke at Elton John's expense. Was pretty shocked when the credits revealed it was Elton John.
I seem to be in the minority who rates Vaughan as a director. I think he's one of the few action directors who direct scenes so that you can actually see what's going on, rather than shooting close to the action in an attempt to make you feel part of it and providing a great way to hide the stunt people.

I agree Vaughan is very good. First Class is my favourite X-Men film. I don't think you're in the minority, I haven't seen the guy get much criticism. No more than the average director anyway.
