Expert Moderator, I presume in this case should be the oldest, correct?

I can make the change then I wait for your check to delete the wrong one.
https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/433527

1997 is the correct year. /433527 is the correct film.

@beeniebag
There is a policy in the TMDB to give preference to the oldest ID.
That's why I asked for the opinion of an expert moderator.
I understood that in your initial posting, the younger's (ID433527) data was more correct.
The year, poster, etc ...
If it is decided that it will be the oldest (ID342260), we will pass all the data from the newest to the oldest.

Expert Moderator! Help me.
I copied the data from the youngest to the oldest.
I created in French in the oldest.
I copied the poster.
I added a new poster.
I put in Alternative Titles French and Syrian.
I do not know what the original title is. French or Syrian?
Apparently it was filmed or recorded in Syria.
I have not erased the younger one yet.
If all is correct, we can delete and close this one.

Not an expert moderator here, but I looked over everything and I think it's fine. I also watched the movie, it's on YouTube here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2wf_HOWRq-Q

2 things:

1.) We don't add an alternative title when this title is the same as the original title and/or the official title in the respective language.

Examples:

The French official title here is: "Le plat de sardines". That means you don't have to add "Le plat de sardines" as a French alternative title.
The original title here is: "Ų·ŲØŁ‚ Ų§Ł„Ų³Ų±ŲÆŁŠŁ†". That means you don't have to add "Ų·ŲØŁ‚ Ų§Ł„Ų³Ų±ŲÆŁŠŁ†" as a Syrian alternative title.

An alternative title would be added if there was another French or another Syrian title for this movie -> but their isn't. smile_cat

2.) I'm not sure if we should keep both posters here: https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/342260-le-plat-de-sardines/images/posters?image_language=xx

This one is a screenshot of the movie with added black borders bottom/top that are not allowed.
This one is a squished screenshot of the title of the movie that's also not allowed.

I would delete both posters. scissors

If all is correct, we can delete and close this one.

You can delete it! All infos are properly saved in the other one. But we should wait for an expert moderator to share an opinion before we close this discussion! speaking_head

Janar, thank you for your response.

Number 1
I know we should not put the same title as an alternative.
My problem is: both the new and the old were in English.
One with original title in French and the other with original title in Arabic or Syrian.
I still do not know which of the two titles is the original, French or Arabic.
As the premiere was in France, I created it in French, with the original title in Arabic.

If the original title is in Arabic (as it stands now):

  • I delete Arabic from alternative titles.

If the original title is in French:

  • I put the original title in French
  • I delete the title translated into French,
  • I create an Arabic version,
  • I put the Arabic text in translated title,
  • I delete all alternate titles.

Otherwise, we will lose the title in Arabic.
In your opinion, the original title is in French or Arabic?

Number 2
Of course the poster quality is bad.
What we already had here in TMDb is with bars and the image is terrible. But that's what we have here.
The new one I uploaded was the only one I found.
And it had to be expanded. The original is 450 x 675.

I see no chance of finding anything better.
Not now, not even in the future. Documentary, low budget, old.

What is ugliest?
To get anything with that low quality, or, an eternal absence?

For these issues I asked for help from a Expert Moderator.
Let's wait for some more opinion.

I still do not know which of the two titles is the original, French or Arabic.

I'm not sure either, but I would maybe use the French one since the documentary is 100% French. thinking

A poop poster is worse than having no poster. BUT I uploaded a non-distorted version of the opening credits:

Yes, I think we should change it to French. I remember we had this German produced film lately that was all in Japanese language -> but since it was a German production, we decided to go with the German title. We should do the same here - French title is the original one, and we create an Arabic translation.

Yes, that looks better! smiley

If the original title is in French:

  • I put the original title in French OK
  • I delete the title translated into French, OK
  • I create an Arabic version, OK
  • I put the Arabic text in translated title, OK
  • I delete all alternate titles. no

I found several new alternative titles.
