Discuss Atomic Blonde

I heard about this film from the Red Sparrow boards and thought I'd check it out. In hindsight I hadn't missed anything. I can think of few films that layer so many pretentious details all to no net effect. If you look at the bones of the storyline, they are rudimentary, making all the aesthetic choices truly superfluous. At best this is a vanity project, and a waste of time at that. How silly!

The only redemptive qualities were the technical aspects--but they ultimately served to distract from the story--the ultimate failure of technical achievement.

Good to know it's garbage since I skipped it completely.

I thought the soundtrack fit the movie really nicely, but apart from that, a very mediocre film all around.

You can never go wrong with an 80s soundtrack.

Everything else about this film was garbage.

The selection of tracks was really good, yes, but as much as I love the 80s I think they used too many songs in there. It was almost like they were dependent on the music to propel the movie.

It's just not even entertaining...
