What are you talking about? Isla Fischer isn't her daughter, she's impersonating Susan in the book, that's why they look the same age.

I know when I first viewed, "Wedding Crashers", I was absolutely certain I was watching Amy Adams.

Of course, that was until I actually saw the closing credits rolling on my screen.

i don't know why they did not just have amy play both parts. this film was impressive to look at (particularly jake naked) but it was candyfloss in comparison to a single man.

Yes, that was just weird. I'd have thought it would have made a lot more sense to be JG and AA playing both roles OR totally different actors for all the roles in the book. There is no explanation of why Susan chose to visualise JG in the book, but not herself, given that it is established that JG never had another wife.
