You are a bunch of snowflakes. She didn't, and even if she would there are much worse antiheroes in movies that killed people, not animals. A lot of psychopaths and mass murderers in the film history, all the Avengers are killers and murderers, Hannibal Lecter ate people. You don't have to sympathize with her, but a movie is a movie and it can be about anyone and people are flawed enough to sympathize with bad people too, as long as she is not a badly written character and has plausible motivations to do what she does. Moral ambivalence is great for fiction movies.
And these dogs were attack dogs themselves, if you hear a story in a news how a dog attacked or bit a child that dog is put down very quickly. So please, spare me you hypocrisy.

Okay, firstly there have always been female lead films going back to the silent area, it's nothing new, it's that they were mostly drama/comedy/horror/romance, but Joker was a hit so now everyone wants to copy it even though it was demonized at the time for appealing to evil men and people are still pissed off it didn't result in a mass shooting.

And according to Pitch Meeting Cruella turns evil because dogs killed her mother?? But then it turns out some other lady made the dogs attack her mother? That's the laziest stupidest thing ever. Why would she then want to kill the dogs if she knows it wasn't their fault?

They could make a female lead film that's actually original and not a blatant cash grab. Next they'll do an Ursala movie or something stupid like that.

Ummm I know. But the new trend is to push female leads to pander. And than when it fails at the box office they cry because movie goers arent ready for a female lead film. They forget to mention all those movies you did and how well they did. They dont mention the poor writing and directing. No its because of sexism!
