Transformers 5: Son Şövalye girdisini tartış

I had to leave the cinema after about an hour.... it is that bad! I have NEVER left in the middle of a movie, and I am a strong opponent of it. But this movie, I was almost insulted at how bad it was. In the first 60 minutes I had counted so many continuity mistakes and frame size changning I couldnt keep the count straight. Seriously, how the hell do you shoot so sloppy that the frame goes from IMAX to 35MM back to IMAX 15-20 times IN THE SAME SCENE? Either shoot the whole sequence in IMAX or dont, but dont change 15 times in the same scene.

Not to mention the disjointed mess of all the other editing. Scenes dont flow together very well, dialog is changing from one cut to the other where its clear the actors had been on another emotional level than the one before it. The continuity is atrocious, characters conversation carry over strange from one cut to another, and there seems to be no spatial awareness at all in the way the scenes go together. I counted at least 3 times where, there was smoke in the precious cut, and then cut to another angle and all smoke is gone. One scene Mark is driving full force with dust everywhere stopping to talk to a Chief who is missing his police cruiser (grimlock has eaten it), but when they cut to the over the shoulder of Mark, all dust is gone, and was so obviously shot at a different time where the car had been parked (obviously, but how hard would it have been to kick up some dust before rolling the camera).

Man this is a new low from Bay. What a complete mess and I can not reitirate enough, so god damn lazy. I cant even imagine how bad the rest of it is. (I´ll watch the rest of it when it hits on blu-ray)

I'm likely seeing this tonight, ONLY because I promised my son we'd see it opening weekend (we're both big TF toy fans), otherwise I'd consider waiting til home video.

The bad edits probably would be forgivable in my book if the damn movie was ENTERTAINING and FUN! Is it really that hard to make a coherent Transformers movie with...I dunno...a halfway decent STORY?!? Looking at the plots for the last 3 TF movies, they could've been half hour long...not TWO & HALF HOURS.

My expectations are on the floor for this one...which is a CRYING shame as Transformers and Godzilla/Kaiju's are our absolute favorite franchises...to see what Bay is doing with these brainless sequals TRULY does tick me off. I'm considering buying Wonder Woman tickets and sneak into Last Knight...seriously!

Keep em real low... Now I cant give a true assesment of the whole story, but the first 60 minutes was some serious jumble. I was entertained in the last 4 movies, but this one, it was just so bad. A real low point was the wise cracking, drunk Merlin from 450 a.d. played by Stanley Tucci in makeup. I mean, wtf? If I am not mistaken he has one of the supporting roles in the last one...so why the fuck is he playing a completely new character in this one? - And not even convincingly.. he even talks like he is from 2017, even though its suppose to be 1500 years ago.

Its a freaking insult this movie.

I'm not surprised, Michael Bay is infamous for his poor quality standards as he who only cares about money. All of his movies that he has directed or produced are terrible. I seriously hope Michael Bay doesn't get the movie rights for another 80's classic...

Cant agree completely, The Rock is a solid good film. Not just a good action film, its actually a good film.

Also Namibia is not in west Africa.

You were right.... It's a complete mess.

Didn't he have a transformers movie where shia labeouf and megan fox were running around in the sand near the pyramids in egypt and then end up i jordan in the next cut?! ... thats like running from boston to new york in minutes...

People still loved it...

These movies really are terrible. I don't mind the first one but the rest are abysmal - yet they still rake in BILLIONS.

It's like that the whole way through. I watched it in 4DX thinking at least that would make it entertaining, but it wasn't. It was actually the worse 4DX experience I had. Just cold air blowing the whole way through as if no thought went into these effects too. The film was a mess and I was bored. I should have known better. I didn't see 3 and 4 in the cinema but thought I'd give this one a try seeing as Hopkins was in it. What was he thinking??? Grrrr I'm just glad I didn't pay extra as I'm a Cineworld card holder so can see as many film as I like per month.

Who seriously pays for a movie and walks out without seeing it progress? If the last 4 movies weren't a heads up on how these things work than I don't know what is.

I know! I´ve said that a 1000 times before also, and as I said in my original post, I had NEVER done that or even thought about it before I saw this movie.

As I also said, I had seen all the previous ones in the cinema and even though they were pretty bad also, it was not bad enough that I would leave, and I thought this would be no different. I thought it would be bad, but that I would still be able to sit through it, but it was so god damn insulting that I just could not. It´s not like I knew I was gonna leave you know? You never know until you actually do it. And I am sorry, there was noway I was gonna sit there and take one slap to the face after the other like that, it was a really insultingly bad and lazy movie.

I suffered through the first and third one. I'll pass on the rest.

The Rock and Armegeddon are the only two good Bay films.
