Discuter de Lion – Der lange Weg nach Hause

I think this movie could have been truly great, instead of very good, if they had shown more of his growing up years and more surrounding how he went from happy student to locked in his apartment searching maps. Still, it was quite moving.

Yes it would have been interesting to see how his teenage years were, but I guess the movie length would have been too much

agreed, the Indian part was interesting, was looking forward to his adaptation, especially with new brother who was also interesting character, but they just skipped it completely, didn't really enjoy the adult years

Same.

Seroo said in an interview that he would be happy to see a movie focusing on his life with his adoptive family and adoptive country.

Do we really need a sequel?

@DanDare , some people would welcome it. I guess it's like anything: If you liked something a lot, you can't get enough of it. :)

Yeah, I was a bit disappointed that they left all that out. The new brother actually seemed like a more interesting character. They both would probably have some form of PTSD and be overwhelmed by a completely different culture. We really could have spent less time with the romance and google maps and a bit more time here. Still a good film though.
