Was it really a summer movie ? It came out in March. It was a good movie though.

I haven't actually seen any of this years summer movies yet, I'm very behind on my films. So I could be very wrong here. I'm sure Ready Player One is very fun, but if it's better than Deadpool 2 I will have both of my arms amputated and sent to you as an apology.

And I have read the book of Ready Player One so I have a good idea of what it's like. But I have heard all round amazing things from everyone about DP2, even people who are sick of comic book heroes. Less so from RPO.

Dead Pool 2 was really good too. These 2 were my favorites of the summer.

I didn't love DP2.

I did really like RP1. I liked it so much I read the book. However, it's not the best movie of the year (not the summer). That can probably go to Avengers or Incredibles 2 for me. I also thought Annihilation was great. And Blockers was a really good comedy.

I don't know if its the best movie of the summer. But i liked the movie quite a bit. If you love the 80's , its great. And the fact the Atari 2600 is pivotal to the plot. Makes it a winner in my book.
