Absolutely my favorite scene was the shining scene, it was unexpected and I had a smile on my face the whole time.

i saw it imax 3d so it was very impressive as the blood drew you in...

The Shining scene was by far my favourite. :-) Love the attention the detail too. Absolutely brilliant.

I'm with all of you, The Shining scene was EXCELLENT...my teenage kids had only just seen it last year due to the house at Universal's Halloween Horror Nights..so it was fresh on their minds. All 3 of us geeked out during this scene and the 3D enhanced the scene even further.

My son & me are huge Godzilla fans, so seeing MechaGodzilla gave us geekgasms too! lol

Seeing a downed War of the Worlds tripod (from the ORIGINAL movie and not Spielberg's own version) was awesome as well!

i need to see war of the worlds again i couldnt put my finger on where i had seen that tripod before...

The gravity free nightclub. A creative idea. It didn't look anywhere near as imaginative as I pictured it when reading the book but it still looked pretty cool.

The Overlook Hotel Scene (The Shining) hands down love the small less known references in the movie
