يغادر شابان جزائريان ولدا في فرنسا منطقة باريس ليعودا مع والديهما إلى القرية الأصلية. لا يتحدثون العربية ولا البربرية. الحاجز الأول الذي يعزلهم عن بيئتهم الجديدة والذي تتفاقم بسبب مشكلة الأجيال الموجودة هنا كما في فرنسا. إن الوضع الاجتماعي الذي تواجهه المرأة الجزائرية أمام المهاجرين الشباب يتم الشعور به بشكل مباشر ويثبت أنه مولد للصراع. بفضل الحبكة، فإن مشكلة إعادة إدماج المهاجرين في موطنهم الأصلي هي التي يطرحها الفيلم ويوضحها.

Two young Algerians born in France leave the Paris region to return with their parents to the village of their origins. They speak neither Arabic nor Berber. First barrier which isolates them from their new environment and which is further accentuated by the problem of generations, present here as in France. The social position of Algerian women posed to young emigrants is more immediately felt and proves to be a generator of conflict. Thanks to the plot, it is the whole problem of the reintegration of emigrants in their land of origin that the film poses and illustrates.

Deux jeunes Algériens nés en France, quittent la région parisienne pour rentrer avec leurs parents, dans le village de leurs origines. Ils ne parlent ni l'Arabe, ni le Berbère. Première barrière qui les isole de leur nouveau milieu et qu'accentue encore le problème des générations, présent ici comme en France. Celui que pose aux jeune émigrés, la position sociale de la femme algérienne est plus immédiatement ressenti et se révèle générateur de confilts. A la faveur de l'intrigue, c'est tout le le problème de la réinsertion des émigrés sur leur terre d'origine que le film pose et illustre.
