Discuss Keeping Up with the Joneses

Granted it's still early in the year but this was the worst piece of (@# I've seen this year (and probably most of last year). Galifianakis is playing his usual bumbling character. Note that I don't call that 'acting' -- if all you can do is play the same character over and over again, that's not acting. Hamm and Fisher are wasted talents in this and must have been doing it strictly for the paycheques. Gadot is wooden and, sadly, the only memorable part is when she's in her underwear. She doesn't really contribute anything else to the movie and, if she's this bad in this movie, how Wonder Woman is going to be is now very questionable.

I actually found it quite funny relaxed

i wouldnt call it a one star movie... it was average and very formulaic, but Hamm & Galifanakis play off well against one another...

i think they could have done more, taken some risks, but its not horrible...

Can you go into detail about the underwear?

Superheroes are often portrayed as wooden and unemotional so perfect casting. I think the "Joneses" was OK not a waste of 2 hours. For me, Isla Fisher was the bright spot. She was funny and handled the physical comedy well. Also, her lingerie scene with Gadot was very sexy especially if you like a girl with a little more up top.
