In pretentious circles / film clubs, there is a never ending debate over which is THE Greatest ever film Jump Cut.

Some will say that it is in 2001: A Space Odyssey when an ape chucks a bone into the air and it descends as a space ship. Truly awesome. However anothers will swear blind that it's in Jurassic Park: Lost World when a mother's scream at a watching her daughter being devoured by a rabid pack of dinosaurs cuts to a bored looking (going through the motions?) Jeff Goldblum yawning on a subway platform...
