Discuss Nerve

I thought the premise was a great idea especially with all the controversy surrounding Facebook live but the ending was a real eye-rolling finish unfortunately.

It reminded me of Black Mirror and would have made a good episode.

I agree! I typically stop when Vee tries to snitch.

You're right, the movie was solid until the very dumb ending. Hollywood does this a lot because supposedly these types of endings are liked better by focus groups. Maybe they need to get smarter people in their focus groups though, because endings like this where her friend just happens to be part of a leet haxxor group and she concocts a genius plan in less than an hour and everything works out perfectly, is really insulting to the viewers' intelligence.

It wasn't THAT bad,it was okay. Her plan was pretty clever, and it's great to see Tye and Ian make up.At the end you see someone filming Ian and Vee with their cellphone.Does this mean they didn't shut down the game completely?I really hope there's a sequel, there are so many unanswered questions about the Nerve game like where the money comes from.Someone would have to be depositing money into these people's accounts, they could just trace the source of the deposit and find out who's behind all of this.
