Found this western full of heart and epic. True there's some stuff with convicts that make no sense, but for the most part it's not about suspense. Just a story about an amazing horse race. Hackman plays an animal-loving rider and I felt like him seeing these horses endure this race. Hard to resist this cast. Most streaming services have this on PAN and SCAN, but look for widescreen. Crackle has it as of this writing.
