I've seen various people mention a supposed "lost ending" in which Xavier exclaims "I can still see!" after plucking out his eyes.

Some people say it was never filmed or released, while others claim they actually saw this version on TV years ago.

If this really was the original ending, then I wish Corman had kept it in, for it would've made the film a little less mediocre.
