It could actually work. But first things first. Right now they're preparing a Broadway adaption. Depending on its success, maybe they could consider a live-action version.

I was not aware of that... interesting For a theatrical release, I would Ivanka Trump as the Russian heiress. No, just joking. I imagine it would go to Anna Kendrick or something like that. Someone immediately familiar. And capable in a signing role.

I remember Fox had two kinda cool animated movies. One was Anastasia, the other was Fern Gully. Wonder if they are considering pulling a Disney and going live action. There is already a Broadway show of Anastasia now so I bet we do get that one.
