Even the "X" is unacceptable really in today's society. Are we trying to say these mutants are "different" in some way? Surely, even though they all have incredible super powers, they are just the same as you and me.

So then they will change Professor X's name to Professor Normal?

No. That title is nothing more than provocative intelligence shaming.
He needs to simply be called Charles. And he can't be a "leader" either as that's just a means of repressing anyone else from reaching their full potential by having to take on the emotional baggage of being a "follower". So basically just the People, one of whom happens to be called Charles.
Oh and no exploitative showing or even refering to the people's "special abilities". They aren't performing monkeys.

The idea that the name X-Men might be outdated is also patently ridiculous. The word MAN was traditionally used to refer to the human species or mankind as a whole. In fact, the English language doesn’t retain grammatical gender in nouns, adjectives, and pronouns as we see in languages such as Spanish or French. Thus the term X-Men includes not only males, but females as well.
next thing you know "Mankind" will be outdated since women outnumber men Globally...we'll be 'Peoplekind'...fucking stupid!
Fuck this producer & fuck Marvel even MORE if they go with this!

It's silly to change the name. That producer is an idiot.

I think it should just be called "People".

Sure, let's just change everything because we have to make something out of nothing, and be offended by everything these days.
